It really all comes down to your mind

Actually, everything comes down to what you think, and in fact, people often already know exactly what they should do. The only things we really need are focus, courage, and devotion. The internet has all the knowledge you need - you probably don't need a personal trainer (in most cases), nor a doctor to prescribe you a pill that will make you big (I mean, when there's nothing specifically wrong with your body). It's like knowing you need to go to bed early and wake up early, avoid your phone before sleep, exercise and stretch, drink more water, and eat more clean food. But you always end up doing the easier thing rather than the right thing. People always shy away and drift downstream along the deepest, most inertial groove in their minds. Many times you don't truly want something - good grades, attention, that job opportunity - you're just afraid of being left behind, afraid of not fitting in, and afraid of society's evaluation. Fear-driven motivation only leads to a vicious cycle, where people gradually become less creative, less motivated, have no goals, and don't know what they truly want.
The solution sounds simple on the surface: ‘Find what you genuinely want to do,’ to possess both poetry and bread. But who the hell knows? Often, it feels like the life meant for you is happening somewhere else, and only when you truly arrive there will you stop wrestling with this question. When you close your eyes, when raindrops fall, when you look at yourself in the mirror—we all catch a faint glimpse of a path, a possibility. The question then circles back to how much you truly want it. How much do you want that great physique? Enough to swallow every meal like a bull, minding calories and sugar, showing up at the gym no matter what, forcing yourself to sleep, adjusting your body through sunlight, analyzing your condition, enduring the pain and exhausted nerves, then pulling yourself back together. Push yourself to the limit again and again, connecting mind and muscle, until one day you catch yourself in the mirror and realize you’ve changed—but this is still far from enough.

Nor are obsessive people the only ones who can succeed, because happiness, enjoyment, and relaxation are also vital to success. Deep conversations with the people you love help you recover - something that fitness trainers and nutrition books never spell out. Oh, and meditation - you should try it; it's really hard. Try keeping your mind free of any thoughts for five minutes? Really, really difficult. But it can effectively help your nervous system recover and help your brain recognize that it is in a safe environment. You don't need to be in such a hurry to change - come up with three plans, four schedules, and five fallback options, but even if you think about nothing at all, nothing will happen, and the world won't end.
